The Elderberry 1 Plan by Fry Design Co. is a 1,024 square foot two-story modern house plan with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on a 26-foot 5-inch by 42-foot 10-inch footprint.

The Elderberry 1 pairs bold contemporary architecture with the warmth of natural stone and rich wood. A stone mass runs up the center of the front elevation between panels of dark vertical siding, timber posts frame the entry, and a deep roof plane extends past the house to shelter an outdoor living area at the end.

Inside, a 15-foot by 15-foot family room sits open to above, drawing light down from the upper windows and connecting to a 10-foot by 15-foot kitchen. The master bedroom and bath occupy one end of the plan, with a second bedroom, full bath, and laundry at the other.

Outdoor space includes a 96 square foot covered porch and a 235 square foot patio under a 22.5-foot covered portico.
